Blackacre Art Week

"The Blackacre program was a wonderful experience for our children at cabbage patch.  They learned how to use their imagination to create different forms of art."-Vetunde Adeyinka De'Leon, Cabbage Patch Settlement.

In partnership with the Blackacre Nature Preserve, KACF officers a yearly five-day, nonresidential summer craft camp for middle school students.  Previous projects have included plein-air painting, basket making, walking sticks, ceramics, papermaking and fiber arts.

-Camp runs from 9:15am-2:15pm. Lunch is not provided.

-Bus transportation is available.

-Competitive scholarships are available to Jefferson County Public School Students.

-All participants will have four completed projects to take home at the end of the week.
