Lloyd Kelly was born in 1946
in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Louisiana
State University, Baton Rouge, in 1970; a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in
Drawing, from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, in 1973; and a Master of
Fine Arts degree in Printmaking from the Instituto Allende, University of
Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, Gto., Mexico, in 1975.
He has completed studies in Museum Curation at the University of Colorado,
Boulder, and has also completed museum studies at the Louvre Museum and Tate
Gallery.
He is a member of the Arts Club of Washington, D.C.; Artist's Fellowship,
Inc., New York City; the American Academy of Equine Art; and the National
Arts Club of New York City.
